Everywhere I Go I Am Save, Welcome and Well Received

This world is an embrace.

Everywhere I go I am safe, welcome and well received. Love surrounds me, generosity abounds around me.

I am lavishly paid to do what I love, and rich beyond my dreams. Happy healthy and exuberantly free, I easily express the joy that’s within me. The more I give, the more I receive. Life is a gift of prosperity.

 Update:

I am back from Ireland and my ankle is mending. However, the healing and prayers you sent made a major difference. I immediately began to feel stronger and more energized.

Shortly thereafter, while visiting with people who took pity on the sorry state of my foot, a plan was laid to drive up the winding country roads to the small home of Tommy Tiernan, the man who heals sprains.

If you have a cut or a break, there are other names to whom you would be sent. Tommy heals sprains and sprains only.

It stays light in Ireland late so visiting at 10 p.m. seems somehow reasonable and off we went as the sky began to darken and the moon cast its gleam. I was aware that the inconvenience of my pain had opened a world to me I would not have seen.

Tommy’s wife met us at the door and knew immediately what we were there for. No matter that we’d interrupted their TV.

Tommy took his pipe from his mouth and put his healing hand on my foot. His accent was as thick as a Scottish brogue and required translation from someone I barely understood.

You’ll be walking tomorrow, I was told, and then given a strand of wool to double-tie around my ankle. This fabric would continue to heal my sprain, or anyone else’s if I chose to lend it.

Behind me the TV played a movie about a college girl being murdered by friends, intercut with shots of Patty Duke and Loretta Swit. Apparently, one of them played her mother.

Loretta Swit’s face was so surgically enhanced that she looked like a caricature, or a Mrs. Potato Head with oversized lips; it took me a while to realize who she was; and then the oddness of it was mesmerizing, as I tried to listen to Tommy’s stories of miracle healings and how widely he was sought.

Suddenly we were done. Payment adamantly refused, we piled into the car and curved down the green, star-lit hills. The next day I limped well enough to head out to Dublin.

Blessings,
