Sign of the Dove: MaryRose’s Messages from the Other
Side
By MaryRose Ochino
Reviewed by Lorrie Kazan
Psychic
medium, MaryRose Ochino, believes in signs. In fact, her book is named to
honor the dove whose ceaseless cooing woke her to a telepathic message.
The message: “Prepare for a wonderful day,” something she’d
considered impossible since multiple sclerosis had kept her virtually housebound
for ten years.
“I
felt like the bird was giving me a pep talk,” she said. It seemed to be
saying, watch for signs of change and do not hesitate to go forward.
In fact, she was about to soar.
The
dove had awakened and alerted her to the coming of a miracle. Startled by
her first live animal communication, she remembered two rules of psychic
reading; “never try to make something fit,” and “logic has nothing to do
with life or reading.”
That
day she would receive a call for a reading from a woman who had heard glowing
reports of her abilities from Dr. Gary Schwartz.
Dr.
Schwartz is a Harvard-trained professor of psychology, medicine, neurology,
psychiatry and surgery at the
University
of
Arizona
. His extensive laboratory-controlled tests with mediums, such as John
Edward, ultimately ranked Ms. Ochino as one of the best. His book, The
Afterlife Experiments is a must-read for anyone interested in mediumship.
The
caller promised that if Ms. Ochino’s talents were anything near what she’d
heard, then she would put the author on TV. Impressed by the
reading, she kept her word, fulfilling one of the author’s dreams.
Soon,
an even bigger desire was realized. A new medication (a transdermal cream
called Prokarin) finally broke the cycle of constant, crippling pain, allowing
the author to drive, travel and physically engage in life.
Sign
of the Dove is an upbeat and accurate look at the life of a psychic medium,
quick and fun to read. In sharing her miracles, Ms. Ochino inspires
us to focus on the positives in our lives. Readers are likely to find
themselves more present to the subtle messages that surround them.
Indeed,
Ms. Ochino delightedly assures us that beings who have “crossed over” are
listening to us, and want to communicate with us. In fact, they are
communicating, sending signs of hope and direction. She inspires us to
have faith, ask for guidance and not to worry if it comes in unexpected
ways.
